Terms of Service

Financial Agent Accounting Ltd · Effective date: 1 September 2026 · Version 1.0

These terms are an agreement between you and Financial Agent Accounting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16293411), registered office 99 Long Street, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6UN ("MyNet", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our apps and websites (MyNetTax, MyNetDeposit, MyNetRent and related MyNet services, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Important — what MyNet is and is not. MyNet is a software tool that helps you organise your own financial information, prepare figures and build evidence reports from data you connect. MyNet does not provide regulated financial, tax, investment, mortgage or legal advice, and does not file or transact on your behalf without your explicit confirmation. You remain responsible for reviewing and confirming anything you submit (for example to HMRC or to a lender). For regulated advice, consult a qualified professional.

1. Who can use MyNet

You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident, and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. Connecting your bank (Open Banking)

Where you choose to connect a bank account, the connection is made through an FCA-authorised Open Banking (account information) provider, using secure, read-only access, and only after your explicit consent. We never see or store your banking passwords. Open Banking consent lasts up to 90 days, after which you will be asked to re-confirm. You can revoke a connection at any time in the app or with your bank. Until we hold our own FCA permission, we operate under our provider's permission (agent model).

3. Your responsibilities

4. Subscriptions and payment

Some features are paid. Where they are, the price, billing period and what is included are shown before you subscribe. Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Statutory cancellation and refund rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can. Planned maintenance may cause temporary downtime.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including the MyNet and FinAgent names, logos, design and software, belongs to Financial Agent Accounting Ltd and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Content you upload remains yours; you grant us the limited licence needed to provide the Service to you.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on figures you did not check, from third-party services (including your bank, the Open Banking provider, HMRC or a lender), or from your failure to keep your credentials secure. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (or £100 if the Service was free to you).

8. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, misuse the Service, or where we must for legal or security reasons. On closure we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
